Meditation in the Workplace

In our busy world filled with overwhelm and multi-tasking, individuals are often stressed out which usually translates to employees that are tired, unproductive, irritable and often difficult to work with.  This affects their clarity and focus, not to mention their creativity, amongst other things.   With meditation, individuals can become more productive, relax, breathe and become responsive vs. reactive.   Meditation not only offers countless emotional and psychological benefits but it also affects employees on a physical level, promoting stronger immunity, lowering blood pressure and creating a more peaceful state of mind.

How can I help, you ask?

As a Meditation Coach, I offer a variety of sessions designed to bring mindfulness and meditation to your employee population.  Both meditation and mindfulness have been shown to reduce stress, increase focus and productivity, boost problem solving skills, and enhance better communication.

Here is what some employees are saying:

“I’ve been meditating with Mridu for about a year and a half. In addition to guiding the meditations, Mridu also checks in regularly about how we are doing with meditating outside of our sessions. Starting my week off with a Monday lunchtime guided meditation has finally helped me to start a regular meditation practice, which is something that I have been trying to do for years. This has improved my focus, mood and sleep quality.” ~ Liz M., Plymouth, MI
“Meditation with Mridu is extremely relaxing. You will leave the session with a sense of calmness. It’s a great way to relieve that Monday stress and get you mentally prepared for the week ahead.  Thanks Mridu for everything you do!” ~ Stephanie G., Livonia, MI
“I think it’s safe to say you’ve taught me the benefits of meditation. 😊   My favorite activities revolve around the meditation and breathing exercises. Over time, I’ve noticed improvements in my ability to cope with stress and to sleep better. I’m at a stage in life where insomnia is a thing, so anything that helps to combat it is a much-appreciated tool. The equal breathing techniques you’ve taught me work wonders!” ~ Sue S., South Lyon, MI
